Libertas film festival Dubrovnik

OUR PROPOSAL FOR PROMO VIDEO LIBERTAS FILM FESTIVAL IN DUBROVNIK. A COMBINATION OF LIVE FOOTAGE AND DIGITAL COMPOSITING.

Libertas film festival

Libertas film festival Dubrovnik announced a competition for promo video that will be used before every screening, as well as a TV commercial on MTV and RTL television. The organizer of the contest gave the graphic elements that must be included in the video: blue background, tee with white and green stripes, logo and date of the festival.

Our idea was to communicate the emotion that Dubrovnik causes to it's visitors. To accomplish that, we decided to film the video, instead of using only motion graphics. The hand that draws Dubrovnik incorporated with soft, elegant music, produces the desired emotion - love for Dubrovnik.

Garden Mall video
2009 / VIDEO

ATTRACTIVE TV ANIMATION FOR GARDEN MALL DURING ONLY 7 SECONDS, ACHIEVES THE DESIRABLE OBJECTIVE.

Garden Mall

TV animation for Garden Mall announced the opening of the largest shopping center in the eastern part of Zagreb.

Beside this short duration of the animation, the problem was that the first 2 seconds occupies only a part of the screen. So, we decided to use this animation to help people memorizing the name of the center.

For the breakbumper opening we used green leaves, slowly covering the screen. After that, Garden Mall uncovers. This action visually presents the grand opening of Garden Mall.

Following the same style, we produced a Radio commercial and a website (check out our 'web' category).

WHEN WE FIRST HEARD ABOUT THE PROJECT BEAD BY BEAD, WE DECIDED TO CONTRIBUTE BY MAKING A VIDEO INVITATION FOR THEIR FIRST EXHIBITION, PRO BONO.

Bead by Bead

Bead by Bead is a project, a vision of a woman from Croatia who is working hard to help young, creative women in Uganda, Africa.

Those women live in the poorest area of Kampala, Uganda's capital. They come mostly from the devastated northern parts of the country, have several children, many don't have husbands and basic means to survive.

They are rolling the leftovers of coloured paper, making unique necklaces and bracelets.

Croatian Bead by Bead team, Marina and Mia, presented the project in Zagreb.
This video was an invitation for that presentation, and represents our modest contribution.

A SHORT VIDEO MADE FOR FOX, BRINGS YOU THE ATMOSPHERE FROM THEIR FIRST FASHION SHOW IN ZAGREB.

Fox

FOX, Israel's leading fashion brand, recently entered to Croatian market. For their first fashion show in Zagreb, they came out with MEN & WOMEN collection for Spring/Summer 2009. The party took place at a night club Gjuro2.

Our role was to record a video of the event and then make a short promo that will be used as part of a presentation material.

We decided that the video should not last more than 2 minutes, to keep the attention of the viewers. On the other hand, it was very important to show the whole program of the event, so we practised a fast montage with short cuts.

Video was recorded by using a Sony HDR - FX1000 camera.

OUR IDEA FOR GOOGLE PROJECT 10 TO THE 100TH. GOOGLE IS SEEKING FOR A WAY TO HELP AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE, AND WE HAVE THE ANSWER.

Equivalence

Google announced a competition seeking for ideas to change the world by helping as many people as possible. Beside answering questions from the registration form, there was a possibility to create a 30 second video.

Our idea directly impacts on the achievement of equality of people in the world.

Making other people happy, so that we would feel happy too, is the essence of our idea.
Results of the competition have not been published yet, which means we still have a chance to win. We would be very proud if our idea gets to be realized, cause it will show that only one afternoon is enough to change the world.

A COMPANY FOCUSED ON PROVIDING THE BEST QUALITY OF SERVICE, DECIDED TO CHANGE THEIR OLD VISUAL IDENTITY WITH THE NEW, MODERN ONE.

Sanac

A company specialized in cutting woody plants below the trunk area, wanted a modern version of their logo.

Making of a new visual identity went trough a few stages, until this solution was excepted. We used a tree as a main element to make a connection with the company's core business.

Colors in this logo are shades of grey, used to emphasize company's qualitative business activities.

Beside logo design, we also created an editable memo that provides data input without any affect on the design.

AN INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ADVERTISING COMPANY OFFERS A NOVELTY ON THE FIELD OF MARKETING USING NEW MEDIA SOFTWARE.

A new company specialized in broadcasting commercials on Plasma TVs, in places like shopping malls, cinemas etc., needed a mini brand ID. Considering a fact that the company is video related, it was important to think about a logo which will be used on TV screens.

When we were designing this logo, we wanted to set a good basis for future actions, such as motion graphics and 3D.

The round element in the logo composed of a ring and a circle, both in different colors, have the semblance of an on/off button on our remote controls.

With this color combination, we achieved a Hi-tech look, which goes along with the company's core business.

LOGO DESIGN FOR A BRAND NEW FAST FOOD RESTAURANT, SPECIALIZED IN SERVING HORSE MEAT. WESTERN STYLE SEEMED AS THE MOST SUITABLE ONE.

Before we started to think about the logo, we had to be aware that people are not used to eat horse meat. Most of them have never even taste it.

To encourage people to taste Horseburger's products, we used elements that can decrease those negative connotations related to consuming horse meat. We decided to go with the western look.

By using elements such as cowboy hat, horseshoe and wooden font, we managed to connect logo's visual layout with the name of brand.

Basic background color is white, but it can also be used on other backgrounds, depending on application.

ELEGANCE AS OUR STARTING POINT LED US TO A SOPHISTICATED, SIMPLE, BUT VERY DISTINCT LOGO.

Severitas is a real estate agency from Zagreb. We were working on their logo together with their website trying to do both things as simple as possible.

Their real estate offer is based on luxury, style and elegance, so the logo had to be just like that. Background color is almost black and the letters are silver, with a temperate glow effect.

The shape of the colorful element reminds us on modern architecture, and at the same time breaks the monotony of black and silver.

The glow effect used in this logo makes an obscure 3D perspective.

A SIGN IN THE SHAPE OF A LETTER 'N' MADE THE NAME OF THE COMPANY MORE MEMORABLE AND CREATED A CONNECTION WITH THE COMPANY'S CORE BUSINESS.

We used a little trick here. The name of the company is ICT solutio, but to make the name more memorable, we added an element that is similar to a letter 'N'.

This element, beside it's similarity to a letter 'N', is a symbol that stands for linkage. Considering the fact that ICT solutio is a company whose activities are IT related, further explanations are not necessary.

Logo is very simple with moderate colors, but used with certain side effects.

Apart from logo design, we also did a business card design as well as memo design. In those cases symbol from the logo was our main object. We used it as a background on business cards and in the header of the memo.

REDESIGN OF THE EXISTING LOGO, AFTER MORE THAN 60 YEARS OF BUSINESS, TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY GOOD MOVE. LOGO IS STILL RECOGNIZABLE, BUT CONTEMPORARY AT THE SAME TIME.

Poljooprema is a company that has been successfully operating in Bosnia and Hercegovina for over 60 years. They recently decided to freshen up their existing visual identity. Due to the long tradition of the company, the logo should maintain it's recognizable style, but at the same time make visible changes.

Most changes were made by using different colors.

Now, they are far more natural and cleaner. We used them to visualize a sunny field, getting a better conection with the company name. Translated to english, 'Poljooprema' means 'equipment for the field'.

Apart from logo design, we also did a business card design as well as memo design.

BESIDES THEIR UNUSUAL AND INTERESTING NAME, PR AGENCY 'NO COMMENT' NOW HAS AN UNUSUAL AND INTERESTING BRAND IDENTITY.

Designing logo for a PR agency was very interesting. The name of the agency 'Bez komentara' translated to english means 'No comment', so we decided to use pictograms to get the connection between the name and the agency's activities.

Because people use their mouth, eyes and ears to communicate with others, we covered those body parts and made 3 versions of the No comment's logo.

The client approved all 3 versions and decided to use all of them: the primary logo - covered mouth - for press releases and covered eyes and ears for audio and video presentations.

We designed a business card and a memo, using the primary version of the logo.

Garden Mall Newsletter was designed as a template, so the content input would be really simple. It allows you to enter as many photos and texts you want, without compromising the design.

It's created to be sent in xHTML form. Its editing and sending are enabled through an application within Garden Mall's CMS. This application is following all contacts that registered to receive Garden Mall

Newsletter, so only one click is requested to send it to an unlimited number of recipients. All text parts of the Newsletter are editable, including header and footer.

Garden Mall Newsletter is designed in the same style as website www.gardenmall.hr (you can check it out in our 'web' category).

Hostese.hr is a mini portal that, beside showbiz news, offers job opportunities for young people. Through the application form one can easily register to Mode promocija's hostess and promotor database. Every registrant has a chance to be selected for a hostess/promotor of the week/month.

Announcement of the hostess/promotor of the

week/month performs an application implemented in the CMS (Content management system).

Site visitors are limited to rate every competitor of the week only once. When voting for competitors of the month, visitors are limited to only two votes, one for the hostess and one for the promotor of the month.

The main advantage of a shopping mall is a lot of different brands at one place. Good tenant mix and diversity of brands is what makes it all work. One of the most interesting features on this web is focused on brands.

Every CMS (Content Management System) that we do, we build from scratch. That way we can meet every client's need. In this case, we developed custom Garden Mall CMS with a special

section made just for brands. Here, they can create content by themselves. Considering the fact that there are more than 70 brands inside Garden Mall, the content on the web is always up to date.

Every time a brand creates a new post, the administrator gets notified. After admin approval, the content gets published on the Garden Mall web, inside the brand's profile.

An artist web for a young singer Franka Batelić provides interaction between her and fans. Within the category 'Fan corner', through a simple contact form, everyone can ask her a question or make a comment about her work.

Those messages, together with the answers, get published on the web.

You can listen to all songs from Franka online and at the same time read lyrics of the song you are listening.

News regarding Franka's concerts, new video or a song, awards etc. are published within 'News' category. For frequent visitors of Franka's website, it's enough to open the homepage and read the 3 latest news so they wouldn't miss a thing.

HORSEBURGER POSTER NOW MAKES THE RESTAURANT'S ATTRACTIVE LOCATION EVEN MORE ATTRACTIVE.

To get better visibility of the poster, installed above the restaurant, we used secondary logo (see primary logo in 'Brand ID' category).

Since the poster is located at a height of 2 meters, we used the logo version in which the name Horseburger is written altogether. That makes it a lot easier to read.

There are more differences between primary and secondary logo, for instance, horseshoe in this version is much bigger than usual.

We used a red background color to make the poster even more noticeable.

A young pop star Franka Batelić showed us many times that she takes her career seriously. Beside music, she pays a lot of attention to her fans, so she decided to have her autograph card designed.

We used a lot of vibrant colors, tinsels and glow to emphasize Franka's unfailing energy.

In the forefront is Franka herself surrounded with colorful streaks symbolizing that energy. Backside of the card was left blank for Franka's message and autograph.

Except the card, we designed and developed a website franka.com.hr (take a look at our 'web' category).

WEDDING INVITATIONS DESIGN CAN BE VERY UNGRATEFUL WHEN DEALING WITH NEWLYWEDS WHO HAVE PINK AND KITSCH EXPECTATIONS…

Fortunately, our newlyweds didn't think about pink and kitsch, and gave us full trust with the design. So, we decided to run away from stereotypes.

These black and white, minimalistic invitations are hand-drawn. The invitation text is also presented by using

graphic illustrations which tells the story visually.

We used 300g fine paper for print. Beside invitations, we also designed an appropriate letter of thanks.

Novi 1Šest web our t-shirts came alive

Naše majice su oživjele

If you are visiting our site or Facebook profile on regular basis, you probably noticed that our T-shirts are no longer just Photoshop drafts.

We organized a photo session in our office and brought our T-shirts to life. Now you can see how they look when they are actually worn and also get a better perception of materials and press quality.

Our new web

It's been a while since we first wanted to redesign our web. Now, when we moved in our new office, it seemed like the right time for that.

Maybe you didn't notice, but the whole web is placed on one page. We wanted to simplify the navigation by using latest javascript technologies. All the way through development period, jQuery was our best friend. At the end, web passed xHTML strict validation which makes us very satisfied with the final result.

All colors used on the web are bright and optimistic cause we believe that web doesn't necessarily need to be serious, it can actually be fun.

Our goal was to create a special user experience when navigating through the site. The web will easily lead you to the information you are looking for, without any back and forward action required. So, play with it!

we moved into a new office

After our first business year, we realized that we need more space. Our old office became too cramped and we needed a bigger one.

We were searching for the perfect office almost 3 months and finally moved to 21 Jagićeva street. Now that we are settled, we can continue to work on our projects, but with a smile on our face.
